Kandi Jamieson, artist and teacher known for her personal and openhearted mixed-media/ book altering and visual journals, will be leading the workshop. She will share some of her artistic techniques, but also offer workshop-style guidance for artists and journals of all levels to work through issues and blocks doing visual art journaling.

Many
people want to express themselves through visual journaling but are
stuck or intimidated with how to get stated, what to write, or how to
move beyond gluing down a few images or putting some paint on the paper.
Kandi will break down the entire working process of journaling how to use different media such as paint, writing tools, photographs, collage, and a wide array of embellishments.
If you've been journaling for awhile and would like to join the class and pick up a few new tricks and share a few, you are welcome to come also. Everyone is a student and everyone is a teacher!
